Think about this. If their last two ventures were so successful then why are they running their successful ventures? Investigate these people and their businesses. I would not be suprised if you found that the businesses were not that successful or that there might have been some legal problems with them.

How? Was it an article? Was it a paid ad? Big difference there. Was it in there at all? Can the person making the claim give information as to what month and year this feature happened.

First of all, that is idiotic. That means that there are people out there earning $900,000 a year selling this stuff and it is not a well known product. If there were people legitimately making this kind of money selling a product then there should be all kinds of articles about it. The product should be pretty famous in the US.

Cheap salesman tactic to make it seem like there is some urgency to jump on board. This makes a person anxious and that person will not be willing to investigate further because investigation takes time. Have you ever heard a used car salesman say that someone else was looking at that same car you are looking at just earlier that day?

Lets look at how internet marketers go about getting Quality Targeted Lead Generation.
Social Marketing
Social Marketing includes Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, BetterNetworker and Blogging to name a few.
For the beginner (someone who has never generated an online lead), you want to start here. It is recomended that you choose one from the list above and stick with it until you become very comfortable. Only then should you add a 2nd Strategy. This also includes Ezines and Solo Ads, Banner Advertising, and Facebook Social Ads.
As a beginner, you want to start into these areas only once you have a firm grasp of the above two Strategies. You will need a minimum budget of about $250-$500 per month for a total of 3 to 6 months. For Google, you realistically need a budget of about $1000 per month for about 3 to 6 months.
The next step into this area should begin with ListBuilders and also Viral URL. These you will need some time to become familiar with however.
Lets Look at your Marketing Goals.
You need to begin with a strategy that will start Filling the Pipeline. You might start out writing down the specific goals you wish to accomplish and a column for the Goal Date and when it was achieved. The goals will be based around the number of leads you are generating because Marketing is all about generating leads. Lets take a look at some examples of goals you might set to start.
1) Generate My First 10 Leads.
Some people beginning in online marketing have never generated any leads before. Generating their first 10 leads is a major accomplishment.
2) Generate My First 100 Leads.
If you get to this point without quitting, you have accomplished more than 90% of all Network Marketers online. This is a Huge Landmark. This will likely require incorporating several of the above strategies.
3) Generate a Consistent 10 Leads per Day.
This starts to move you into some constant income if you have organized your sales funnel properly. This usually indicates that you have become proficient at least 3 separate strategies in order to reach this goal. You should shoot for this goal at about 3 months time if you are new to Internet Marketing.
