MLM Network Marketing Leads -Which Are The Best?

I know that sounds very blunt but why else would so few people make any money with MLM? Here are some of the bad marketing strategies people are taught to use to find MLM Leads and why they fail.
Warm market
You have probably been told to start with your warm market – your friends and family. This is a good idea for only one reason. They will most likely give you a chance to make your pitch but they fail in one major way to be a good prospect. They may love you but they do not want to be in business – even with you.
The basic premise of marketing is that you are trying to find the people who are interested in what you have to offer. They are ‘your people’. Again, your family and friends are interested in you – not your biz-op.
3 Foot rule
the next market you will be encouraged to attack – and that is how it feels to them – is when you apply the ‘3 foot rule’. That is when you harass anyone who comes within 3 feet of you.
These people do not know you and are mostly not interested in your MLM business. They have their own problems and you are adding to their stress. There is no marketing going on here.
Flyers, business cards and funny buttons
The same goes for posting flyers around the neighborhood and dropping business cards in public toilets and telephone boxes. Also, wearing large funny badges is a turn-off.
Truth is that trying to generate MLM Network Marketing Leads in this way is not marketing or solving problems for others. It is about solving your problems and earnestly saying, ‘I don’t win till you win’ to cover up your lack of marketing skills and is the wrong way to generate consistent Network Marketing Leads.
Leads co-op
Another way of paying fro leads is to join a co-op. They usually charge a joining fee and a monthly fee of $60. For this you get 100 leads each month. You also get up to 60% of that fee when you get someone else to join. This is a problem and a distraction as many people end up making their money off the networking of leads. The distraction is still the quality of the leads – there is no quality.
Buying leads
About now you may be thinking of buying MLM Leads from a leads company. The fist thing you should understand is how the company finds those leads to sell to you.
Some leads are ‘incentivized’ into filling out a form to win an iPod or holiday. They could say that they have $1000 to start a home based business right now but truly, they just want the prize.
Other leads come from co-registration when they sign up for MSN or something and they tick the box that they are interested in Books, Gardening or Money. They do not want to work in a home based business with you.
For all you know, when these people filled out the forms, they may have been drunk, bored or just plain depressed and looking for some kind of forlorn hope.
No matter how terrific the leads company makes these leads sound (fresh, exclusive, surveyed, etc) these people do not know you and may not be happy to talk to you or open your emails.
The best of the bought leads
There is one type of bought leads that logic tells us is more likely to be interested and that is Real-time Re-direct Leads, These leads go directly to your landing page after they have filled out the form and clicked Submit. They are interested at that moment so are the best you can buy.
Please do not send them to your company page. Use your own landing page so that they can ‘meet’ you and have you explain why they should join you – not your MLM Company. Why it is you who can help them get ahead fast. This way you are solving their immediate problem. They will be more open to your calls and emails.
One word of caution. You will have to have compelling copy on the landing page and you will have to work fast. That same lead is likely to be sold as a ‘24 hr fresh lead’ the next day. You will then have someone else calling ‘your’ lead and they will get frustrated and confused and not talk to anyone – even you.
