Most ‘leaders’ will tell you that you that your warm market is the place to start. To approach your family and friends is easier for most people but you probably don’t have enough of them to build a business. When you do use up your warm market list, you will be encouraged to apply the ‘three foot rule’. This means you will be dropping business cards in public toilets, harassing people in the mall and bugging guests at barbecues. Contrary to your training, this will not improve your business and your ‘enthusiasm’ will be a warning signal for all to avoid you.
