Has anyone signed up for Avon and did you really make money at it??
I am thinking about doing it as a part time thing, but I want to know if anyone has made any significant money at it? And if so, where did you go to get good leads??
NO MLM POSTINGS PLEASE BECAUSE I WILL VOTE THEM AS THUMBS DOWN. THANKS
All the successful Avon ladies I’ve met started out by showing it to family and friends. Then the family and friends showed the brochures to their family and friends and so on until a very nice customer base was built up. Avon is a very well respected company with an excellent product line. I am a 44 yr old female who has used the Anew anti-aging line for a couple of years and does that stuff ever work! I really like their make up too and that is the only kind I wear.
Like any business venture, building up a customer base will take time and effort. Even though I don’t sell Avon myself, I would highly recommend the company to anyone willing to put in the effort to build up their business.

I actually used to sell Avon and yes, you can make some good money at it, but the thing is you have to put a pretty significant amount of time into it to make it go somewhere. Knowing alot of people is a good thing cause then you can have them for customers and they may recommend even more and it’ll help build your business up. I used to take books to work with me and I would get pretty large orders from coworkers alone, so those are some ideas…leave them in public places and have people you know spread the word and it will help you loads! Plus, you get 50% off your first 3 orders you place, I believe, which will help you boost your business in the beginning. Hope my answer helps!

I sell avon part-time and while I don’t make a ton of money, I make enough to get what I want for free.
The real money in Avon is recruiting. If you can recruit and keep recruits, the you will earn a lot more money. Another option is to have avon parties. You can make a lot of money in a little time.
Also, it’s the first 4 campaign that you get 50% off – if they are over $50. The first one is automatically 50% off no matter how you submit (electronically, phone, or paper). The last 3 have to be over $50 and submitted online to get the 50% discount. This is a good time to get your supplies, demos, etc.
My best advice if you are thinking of signing up is NEVER do the stock ups, no matter how well you think it will sell. Only order them if you have money in hand (from customers wanting the product).
